Wanda Plantinga is an Amsterdam-based painter whose work inhabits the space between intention and accident. Working in oil on canvas, she layers colour until the surface develops its own logic — forms that feel organic, relationships between pigments that couldn't be planned.
Are We The Seers Or The Seen was made over two years at Art Symbiosis Amsterdam studio, a space Wanda co-founded on Damrak in the heart of the city. Nineteen paintings in oil — works that are conversations. Sepia reasoning with ocean. Indigo straining toward yellow. A warm grey that holds everything else still.
Nineteen paintings. Each one complete. Each one available to live somewhere that deserves it.
Collectors have taken work to private homes in Amsterdam, London, and beyond. Wanda is available for studio visits by appointment, and welcomes direct inquiries from serious buyers.
